Created in 2023 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Women's Work.
The inspirational book is a short biography of the twenty year history of Women's Work, enlightening the reader to the work our charity does to support some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged women and their families across Derbyshire.
This book shares some of the empowering stories of the women we have supported over the years, as well as featuring beautiful poetry and illustrations from our service users and staff. Organisations we’ve worked closely with during our history have also shared their thoughts, along with our ambassadors and our very own CEO, founder and history maker, Dionne Reid.
The book was created and edited internally, with two students from The University of Derby. A big thank you to Casey Langton and Gabraella Wescott.
